Like Rock Rose, Holy Grass vodka is the latest fantastic addition to the Dunnet Bay Distillers inventory. Since its release on December 2015, Holy Grass vodka has already been gaining recognition, picking up a Great Taste award, silver at the IWSC’s and a finalist award at Ireland’s IFEX Food and Drink Exhibition and an Excellence Award from the Scotland Food and Drink organisation. Just the beginning of many more to come we think…
Holy Grass is a tribute to Robert Dick, a legendary botantist from Tullibody, who lived in Thurso between 1830 & 1866. He was a respected baker and a brilliant, self-taught botanist. Robert Dick discovered Northern Holy Grass (Hierochloe borealis) on the banks of Thurso River thus proving its existence in Great Britain.
