100% Scottish. The team behind the gin take local wheat and water – mill it, mash it, ferment it and distil it 100% in Crafty Distillery. This gives them their hand-crafted smooth spirit. Foraging exclusively from Galloway’s hillside conifers, deciduous low land trees, forest floor, and coastline. We carefully distil to capture a true essence of our region. With sweet & sour elderberries, notes of bitter juniper and hints of salt from pepper dulse, zingy citrus from tiny crab apples and a hit of umami coming from chanterelles we create balance & vibrancy.
Tasting notes. Juniper led, with a mild berry sweetness and subtle maritime note, shouldered by a massive zing from tart tiny red crab apples. Slight salt, pepper and savoury notes bolster body a taste. Clean & fresh, leaning towards dry in balance.
Beautifully packaged. A bespoke foil label on a deep red uncoated paper to symbolise the crab apples, elderberries and the autumn/winter colours of the Galloway season. Each bottle also comes in a stunning presentation case ideal for gifting
