Having been a well-travelled Rum enthusiast for many years, David had a strong ambition and desire to produce a rum of his own design, using 100% natural botanical ingredients.
These botanicals are carefully sourced from around the world, combined with pure Royal Deeside Spring water and distilling knowledge that the area is renowned for. The end result is a new product, special and unique to the marketplace.
The name Cabezon is Spanish for ‘Pig headed/Big headed’ and was a nickname that David picked up while living and working in Barcelona. It seemed obvious, therefore, to identify this beverage with its creators’ single minded (stubborn) attitude/work ethic.
